Lisa Nguessan

Lisa is from Arlington, VA. She has been a substitute teacher for 6 years in Arlington Public Schools. She is currently enrolled part-time as a graduate student at Liberty University’s online program in secondary education. She plans to become an English teacher in middle or high school. Alongside her subbing and schooling experiences she has many outside experiences that have attributed to her success in becoming a better babysitter and future teacher. Her other experience with children includes working at the National Building Museum as a birthday party teacher. There she would set up the birthday party alongside the family, read a book and do an activity pertaining to the story. Additionally, she works as a swim instructor part-time for Arlington County. She is patient, kind and intuitive with children. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
