Dana is currently a graduate student at Howard University and has lived in DC for two years. As a former elementary and high school teacher in Jacksonville, FL, she has had a variety of experiences supervising and working with children. While living in Florida, Dana also served as a recreational and enrichment leader for a local after-school program, assisting middle school students with academic assignments and engaging them in fun and stimulating activities. Dana has a passion for the cultural arts, especially instrumental music and dance. She is also a former lifeguard and loves spending time at the pool and neighborhood parks.
